JoAnna Shapiro, MA
Executive Director
JoAnna Shapiro is an experienced senior healthcare executive with 19 years of leadership. She is the passionate, innovative, action-oriented and results-driven leader of The Recovery Village Ridgefield. As Executive Director, JoAnna is seasoned in all components of hospital operations, including patient care, provider relationships, public relations, electronic medical records, financial reporting, contract negotiating and more. She prides herself on demonstrating sound clinical and business judgment in the best interests of her facility’s patients.
Bethany Neal, LMHCA, LSWAIC, SUDP
Clinical Director
As Clinical Director at The Recovery Village Ridgefield, Bethany Neal is passionate about improving access to care and breaking down stigma for people living with behavioral health conditions like addiction. She is a licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate, Social Work Associate Independent Clinical and Substance Use Disorder Professional. Bethany provides excellent, trauma-informed care to patients seeking withdrawal management, inpatient and outpatient services for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. She believes by focusing on the patient as a whole person, their family system, and environment, she can help build tailored solutions for each patient that will support them throughout their recovery.
Courtney Shipley, RN, BSN
Director of Nursing
Courtney is the Director of Nursing at The Recovery Village Ridgefield and has been a practicing nurse for more than 14 years. She has practiced in areas such as Trauma, Emergency Medicine, Behavioral Health and Case Management. She received her Nursing Degree from Portland Community College and her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University. Courtney has volunteered in her community to provide COVID-19 vaccinations to elderly and vulnerable populations in Clark County and has also been a member of the Clark County Medical Reserve Corps since 2009
